Okay, I am a nerd. But this is my all-time favorite TV show. I have been addicted ever since I caught the season 2 premiere and then immediately went out and rented all the season 1 dvds. And yes, I already bought this…pre-ordered it on amazon. And it should come in today or tomorrow. Whoo-hoo. And even though many of you say she looks like a man, I love Jennifer Garner. I just want to have her arms. Of course, the fact that I am too lazy to work out to get arms like that is besides the point. I believe in magic! Anyway…everyone should watch this show.
This dvd set is obviously from the last season. I have all of them on dvd except for the 1st season. Which is retarded. I am waiting for that to get so cheap I cannot pass it up. Or else someone to buy it for me for Christmas. HA.
Speaking of Christmas, I LOVE Christmas. I love giving presents to people and spending time with family and friends. Notice I said giving, NOT getting.
Seriously. Something I don’t love about Christmas? Being forced to participate in a Secret Santa thing at work where I don’t even know most of the people very well. Why would I want to spend money on random people? And did I mention I work at a non-profit and am broke…so that money could be well spent on someone else?? Damn. I hate to be a Scrooge. But the stubborn side of me HATES being told how to spend my money. Okay, okay…enough bitching!!

Man, I am cranky today. And when I said that at lunch I got told “you are ALWAYS cranky on Mondays.” And that is completely true. I never sleep well on Sunday nights. Just toss and turn and wake up a bajillion times. Yes, I said bajillion. And then I have to come to work and sit in my meat locker. Technically, it is an office. But it is cold enough in here to keep things frozen. Including my fingers. Damn. Kristin and I don’t even take our coats off anymore. Just emphasizes my crankiness.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was actually pretty nice. Started on Thursday when I got to kick it with Loreal. BW3s rocks. Then got to see Tany. That rocked. She got all of her hair cut off and it looks so cute! I wish I had non-fat cheeks and could get away with that. Ha. Went to Kemah for the first time. Which going to Kemah was not that huge of a deal, but the sno-cone with cream was.
Right, Daniel?? YUM. Also got to meet Jenny’s parents. That was festive. That just means she worked her dad all day and got tons of shelves put up and other various items actually put together. Dads are great.
If I don’t see all of you, be sure to have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! ![]()

If anyone watches either one of these shows, this is a cute article. I am addicted to both…but I mainly watch Lost because I have already invested two seasons worth of time, and I refuse to give up and succumb to the confusion at this point. Heroes actually keeps me riveted. Seriously. Everyone should be watching this damn show. Anyway….I obviously did not write the article, and cannot remember where I got it… Read on!
You’re beaten at your own game, ABC: it’s no surprise that series creator Tim Kring consulted with friend and Lost writer Damon Lindelof before embarking on his X-Men meets X-Files enterprise for NBC. Hip-deep in November, Heroes is by far the better show than Lost. It’s not even close—and this is coming from a full-on (and starting to become former) Lost addict. How? Let us count the ways:
We’ll see you in February, Lost—unless we’re too busy with our PlayStation 3’s to bother to tune in.

There are 3 new sets of photos up in the photo section. Some event photos, Penny’s birthday and some photos from when Summer and I went out after Penny’s birthday get-together. The past couple of weeks have been insanely busy. I am sure they have been for everyone. We have had several ridiculously retarded events…thankfully they all end up looking good from the outside! No point in bitching about how asinine they were on the inside. Haven’t played baseball in weeks. Yuck. Just been running and going like a crazy person at work. I think I am getting adjusted to the new apartment. Weird living on this side of the Loop. All my routes to fast food joints have to be adjusted. If only I were kidding. Ha. Let me know what everyone is up to, and I hope everyone is having a good weekend!

So I am finally moved in and practically settled. After Saturday I will feel much better. The cable and internet guy will be coming that day.
Ha. I don’t really have much else to say. I have been in event hell for the past two weeks. Once event season is “over” I am taking a few days off. Even though Annual Meeting and State of the City and County are right around the corner…so event season technically is not over with until March. Whoo-freakin-hoo.
Oh yeah…I moved for 3 days straight from one apartment to another, even took off on Monday to finish up…and I get to my office after an event on Tuesday and my computer and phone have been moved. So I am STILL moving. Have not really stopped. It is nuts.
Hope everyone is having a good week!
