I joined 24 Hour Fitness. And am in love with the elliptical machine. I miss running, and with my bad knee, that is as close as I can get!

 Brandon Backe appears to have a bit of attitude this year. Maybe he is just overly excited to actually be pitching a full season and cannot control himself. I have no clue. But he may need to bring it down a notch!

Speaking of the Astros, they have turned into a team that can actually come from behind and win. What a concept. So many years of watching season after season where they get behind, and then just stall and lose SUCKED. This is a welcome change! I just hope they can keep it up!

I am still hating on TV. Even though the writer’s strike is over. Reality TV is everywhere. Even though LOST is really really good right now. I watch tv on dvds mostly. My new obsessions are Bones and MI-5. I started watching Bones just because of David Boreanaz, of course, but I actually like the show. It is a CSI/L&O type show, but with actual character development.

I think I could eat sushi every single day. Not that I do….but I could.

Jay has pretty much wrapped up an offer to play Division I baseball next year. I don’t want to list the school, in case I jinx it. But congratulations!

Everyone should go to the new Chili’s by the Target on I-10 and ask for Chris to be your waiter. I hear he is pretty good. The one time I tried to go see him, he was training somebody, so I cannot verify….Lydia and Jorge can, though!

I saw the movie Baby Mama, and was pleasantly surprised. It was actually funny. And by that, I mean it wasn’t over the top, stupid funny. I hate those movies. Dumb and Dumber specifically comes to mind. YUCK.
