Just hope it doesnt get crappy like Grey’s ended up getting. I cant even stand to watch 5 seconds of that one anymore.

- Tuesday ended up going to my first Dynamo game. Im not so sure that I can be a soccer fan. So says the girl that will even happily watch NASCAR on a Sunday afternoon. But I dont understand how there can be a TIE. I need a winner and a loser. The new stadium is gorgeous, though. I am DYING to go to the rugby match there at the end of June. Still waiting on my hookup options to come through with tickets.

- Wednesday I swore I almost fell asleep at my desk multiple times. Im too old to go out AFTER a sporting event anymore. Even though I was home by midnight. Def cant hang anymore!

- Thursday will include a trip to Sam Houston Race Park. Which should be interesting. Ive never been! But the event Im going to meant that I had to wear dress pants and shirt to work. Im having flashbacks to my old job! I hadnt realized how accepting I have become of the jeans and t-shirts. Ha! I do have my flip flops on, so there is that. (dont worry, my heels are in my Kate Spade purse!)

- Friday a bunch of us have a viewing to go to for a friend’s brother that passed away. Just found out that it is tomorrow, so plans changed out of necessity. Think we are having sushi dinner after with a group.

- Saturday will be wedding stuff with the Flip and then a crawfish boil fundraiser. It better be good or Im asking for my $20 back.

- I PLAN TO DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT LAY ON MY COUCH ON SUNDAY. Whew. Im exhausted for some reason. I think it is because I keep looking at my calendar….from now until September it seems there is something going on every single week.

HIMYM: I dont watch this show very consistently, but I thought the season finale was okay. Ted has got to be the most boring character on a sitcom right now.

Im really looking forward to the Nikita, Revenge and Scandal finales! Ive been saving the last 5 or 6 episodes of Revenge and havent even watched them because I knew I would go crazy waiting for a whole week to find out what happens next. LOVE that show. Scandal has really impressed me once the story got somewhat established. The first episode was kind of blah. I even cancelled my season pass on that one, but after watching the next 2 episodes on my iPad I added it back in! And Nikita is good every week. Kind of like Vampire Diaries.

Ive also recorded every episode of “Missing” without watching any of them – which I may not even bother to watch now since it got cancelled.

P.S. Im still rewatching TVD and Hart of Dixie whenever I get a chance. SO SO GOOD!

I missed the first couple of episodes of this show because it looked too soapy, but then ended up watching towards the middle of the first season. And yes, it is soapy, but it is super cute and fun, too. I ended up really liking it, and it actually had one of the better finales I have seen. It was actually quite perfect for the show! Realigned the love triangle, gave fans of Zoe and Wade a GREAT ending, and resolved the George/Lavon problem. LOVED IT. Count me in as one of the fans of Zoe and Wade.

Definitely a show I will keep watching…never gets too serious, and is so easy to watch. And the finale didnt completely anger me like some other ones did. It was pretty great!

- BONES, Im looking at you! WTH was THAT?? I know this show can get dark sometimes….it is a procedural that deals with murders and grotesque bodies, after all. But really?? Depending on the first couple of episodes next season, I may have to finally give this one up. Ive been loyal for 7 seasons, but framing Brennan for murder and having her run off with her CHILD may be my “jumped the shark” moment. *sigh* I didnt even save it to rewatch. Just straight up deleted it after one viewing. Ugh.

HELL to the NO.

I got to listen to voice-overs explaining that there was a storm moving through the Houston region. No kidding, television. I can HEAR it raining and thundering. And I can SEE the lightning. *sigh* I remember when storm warnings were just a few beeps and then scrolling text. Nope! Now it is beeps, static, a computerized voice READING the scrolling text to you. Which means you can hear NOTHING happening underneath it. And did I mention I recorded these eps for later viewing? So it recorded the voice-overs, too, of course. *sigh* And you know season finales never repeat!

So I THINK the season finale of Fringe was good. I know the last 5 minutes were, anyway. And I THINK the finale of The Finder was okay. Even though it ended on a cliffhanger, and is a cancelled show, so that is one dvd set I will NOT be purchasing. Idiots. Have low ratings all year and then end on a cliffhanger!

100! Yep, 100 beats per minute while sitting at complete rest. Awesome, huh? Blanca used to tell me she was waiting for me to literally DIE when we went to the gym because we would check our heart rates before we started…her’s was usually around 40-50 beats, and mine ALWAYS ranged between 85-105 beats. The doctor never says anything, though, because my blood pressure isnt actually high. And I can make it slow down if I concentrate really hard and do some breathing exercises. Ha!

But seriously….no wonder I have a hard time shutting it down to go to sleep! *sigh*

I have this contact solution that is very acidic and is kind of a super-duper clean. It has a special case you use to neutralize the acid as it takes all the gunk off of your lenses, and once you put your lenses in you cannot take them out for 6 hours. Once you remove from the container, the acid is supposed to be neutralized, and you rinse with regular solution before putting in your eyes. I had brought my super duper cleaner to Warren but forgot my regular contact solution. But in my super duper logic, I figured it wouldnt matter…it is supposed to be all neutralized and good to go after 6 hours, right?

WRONG

The second I put the contact in my eye the burning started. And then since my eye was experiencing searing pain, my eyelid closed TIGHT. And I couldnt get the contact out. *sigh* I had to pry my eyelid open and claw the contact out, and then rinse my eye with tap water. Double *sigh*

It was super red and ugly looking. Thank goodness I had brought my glasses to wear. Even though the only pair of glasses I could find was the pair with the right nose piece that is jacked up. So my face looked crooked when I wore them, and I found myself tilting my head to the right to make up for it.

It was super sad for Team Damon, though! *sigh*

Also, even though The Finder got cancelled, Nikita got renewed! Thank goodness! I think that leaves every thing I watch besides The Finder set for next year.

- Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol – This was SO GOOD. I really liked how they handled the wife thing from number 3. I would even buy this one. Although the building climbing part actually made me cover my eyes. When he yelled “NO SH*T” I cracked up. Freakin hilarious.

- Brave

- One For the Money (hilarious, awesome book. hope the movie doesn’t screw it up!) Okay, so Katherine Heigl did not ruin this, and it was pretty damn cute. I LOVED the casting of Morelli/Ranger. Ive decided that it should be a TV show, though. Not really enough juice for a movie sequel, but I think it would be GREAT as a weekly, bounty hunter chase-of-the-week. Make it happen, ABC! Instead of putting dumb Katherine Heigl back on Grey’s.

- The Hunger Games – LOVED THIS. I thought it was super quick and did a great job of getting the book plot across and keeping the action moving at the same time. I already want to see it again.

- HayWire (this looks like ALIAS, which as we all know, is the best TV show ever made, right??) – Missed it! Hopefully it is on Netflix this year.

- Wrath of the Titans – I think Im going to skip this one. I still never saw the first one.

- Safehouse (Ryan Reynolds and Denzel, hellooooooo!) This was super good. Not really any *gasp* moments, but good paced, excited, etc.

- Mirror Mirror – I may skip this one. I used my free movie ticket on Hunger Games, and I just cant make myself pay $8 to go see this.

- This Means War (two awesome actors, and by awesome I mean HOT) – Missed this one! Netflix!

- The Avengers

- Snow White and the Huntsman – The newest trailers make this one look better and better.

- Battleship – Im voiding this selection. The more times I see the trailer, the more stupid it looks.

- Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter (good book)

- Dark Knight Rises

- Step Up 4 (I know, I know, but these are so FUN) – Saw the trailer for this one. As always, the acting is horrible, but the choreography on this one looks AMAZING. CANNOT.WAIT. The best part about these movies are all the SYTYCD kids in them.

- The Bourne Legacy

- Magic Mike – HELLO!!? Some of the hottest actors around dancing and stripping. What’s not to like. Looks super cheesy, though. I blame the actress playing the lead. Im actually disappointed this is a rom-com.

- Looper – Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and time travel??! Duh. Im in.

- Gangster Squad – looks awesome!

I need to get back to my Sunday mornings at the movies. Best time to see anything!
